JDX-to-STATUS Conversion

JD Sports will be converting eligible JDX loyalty program memberships into memberships for STATUS.

What is the STATUS loyalty program?

STATUS is a joint loyalty program for customers of Finish Line and JD Sports (together, “JD Finish Line”). STATUS is how we thank and reward our loyal JD Finish Line customers when they shop at Finish Line and JD Sports. As a STATUS member, you have access to STATUS benefits. The benefits you have access to depends on your STATUS Tier. And your STATUS Tier depends on how much you spend on JD Finish Line purchases.

Do I qualify for an automatic conversion of my JDX account to STATUS?

You are eligible for this conversion if you enrolled in JDX in the past 2 years or you made a purchase at JD Sports (in the U.S.) in the past 2 years as a JDX member, so long you have a valid email address registered with your current JDX account.

For eligible customers who are enrolled STATUS from JDX:

  • Your STATUS account number will be the same as your JDX account number.
  • Your JDX points balance will be transferred to your STATUS account.
  • Your JDX rewards will be transferred to your STATUS account at the same value.
  • Any expiration dates applicable to your JDX points and rewards will apply to the points and rewards transferred to your STATUS account.

How does the STATUS loyalty program work?

With STATUS, members can earn Points on their Finish Line and JD Sports purchases and apply Points to redeem different types of Rewards offered by JD Finish Line.

STATUS members are grouped into either the General Admission Tier or the A-List Tier. The STATUS Tier that you’re grouped into for a Calendar Year depends, in part, on the amount you spent on qualifying purchases at Finish Line and/or JD Sports that Calendar Year and the Calendar Year before*. If you qualify for the A-List Tier in a Calendar Year, then you’re in the A-List Tier for the rest of that Calendar Year and through the end of the following Calendar Year.

The amount of Points you can earn on a purchase will depend on which STATUS Tier you fall into.

If a STATUS member in the General Admission Tier spends $100, the STATUS member earns 1,000 Points on that purchase.


If a Status member in the General Admission Tier spends $50 at Finish Line and $50 at JD Sports, the STATUS member earns 500 Points on the Finish Line purchase and 500 Points on the JD Sports purchase, for a total of 1,000 Points on the two purchases.

 

 

 

 

 

A-List

$500 or more

Earn 15 Points per $1 spent

If a STATUS member in the A-List Tier spends $100, the STATUS member earns 1,500 Points on that purchase.


If a Status member in the A-List Tier spends $50 at Finish Line and $50 at JD Sports, the STATUS member earns 750 Points on the Finish Line purchase and 750 Points on the JD Sports purchase, for a total of 1,500 Points on the two purchases.

 

 

 

   

Accrued STATUS Points can be used to redeem STATUS Rewards in the STATUS Rewards Catalog. Examples of Rewards that may be made available in the STATUS Rewards Catalog include: Status Cash, exclusive offers (such as discounts and free shipping) and exclusive or early access to products and/or experiences. Rewards may not be of equal value to one another.

*Consideration of amount spent on purchases in prior Calendar Year (2019) not applicable in the first Calendar Year of the STATUS loyalty program (2020).

What STATUS Tier am I in when my JDX account is converted to a STATUS account?

It depends on how much you spent on qualifying Finish Line purchases as a JDX member and how much you spent on qualifying JD Sports purchases as a JDX member in 2020 as of the date your JDX account is converted to a STATUS account:

If you are initially placed in the General Admission Tier, you can move into the A-List Tier for the remainder of 2020 (and through the end of 2021) if you spend $500 or more at any time in 2020 on qualifying Finish Line and/or JD Sports purchases.

Amounts you spent on Finish Line or JD Sports purchases before 2020 are not taken into account to determine what STATUS Tier you fall into.

How will my JDX points convert into STATUS Points?

Your JDX points will be converted into STATUS Points based on the Points scale for the General Admission Tier ― that is, every 1 JDX point will be converted into 10 STATUS Points.

For example, if you have 200 JDX points, then these points will be converted into 2,000 STATUS Points (200 JDX points x 10 = 2,000 STATUS Points).

This points conversion calculation applies whether you are placed in the General Admission Tier or the A-List Tier when your JDX account is converted into a STATUS account.

What happens to my JDX Rewards if I become a STATUS member?

Your JDX Rewards will be converted dollar-for-dollar to Status Cash (one type of STATUS Reward). You may use Status Cash on qualifying purchases at Finish Line or JD Sports. However, any such Status Cash will expire on the date the converted JDX Rewards would have expired as JDX Rewards.

Do I receive a Welcome Gift as a new STATUS member?

To welcome you to STATUS, you’ll be able to redeem a Welcome Gift from JD Finish Line (use of Points is not required to redeem Welcome Gift). Options for your Welcome Gift may not be of equal value.

What happens to my JDX account if I’m not eligible for the conversion to STATUS?

We will close and archive JDX accounts that are not converted to STATUS. Customers whose JDX accounts are not converted to STATUS have the following options:

  • You can enroll in STATUS and create a new STATUS account. Any balance of JDX points and rewards on your closed and archived JDX account will not be transferred to your new STATUS account.
  • You can re-activate your JDX account by contacting the JD Sports Customer Care Team and providing a new, valid, unique email address for your account. Your JDX account will then be converted into a STATUS account. Any balance of JDX points and rewards on your archived Winner’s Circle account will be transferred to your new STATUS account (see above for details).

We will delete account within 1 year if the account is not re-activated by the customer.

What terms apply to my participation in STATUS?

The STATUS Terms and Conditions applies to your use of and participation in the STATUS loyalty program. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THESE TERMS, DO NOT USE OR PARTICIPATE IN STATUS. YOU CAN OPT-OUT OF STATUS AT ANY TIME BY CONTACTING THE JD Sports Customer Care Team TO CLOSE YOUR NEW STATUS ACCOUNT.

STATUS IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

Thanks, but no thanks. Can I opt-out of the STATUS loyalty program?

Yes, you can contact the JD Sports Customer Care Team to opt-out of STATUS and close the account.

If you opt-out of STATUS, you won’t be able to use the points and rewards accrued under your JDX account that were transferred to your STATUS account. If you decide to enroll into STATUS later, any previous balance of points and rewards accrued under your JDX account and transferred to your closed STATUS account will not be added to your STATUS account.
